I am a staff astronomer at the
     Munich University Observatory, USM.
The research group I am working with is led by
    Ralf Bender.
Our group
is located both at the Munich University Observatory (where it is called
    `Extragalactic research group'
) and at the Max-Planck Institute for
Extraterrestrial research,
    MPE,
(where it is called
    ``Opinas'' ,
optical and interpretative astronomy group).
One of my scientific interests is to make use of the gravitational lens
effect to study our universe.
I also like the studies of galaxy formation and evolution, and, of
course, to look into the universe as deep as possible... (I will
complete this part once I have more time....)
This is me ...
 doing `observations'
.. and this is a pretty nice place
 to grow up
- If you are Interested in a PhD thesis in strong lensing, weak lensing or microlensing or in photometric redshift techniques please write me an email where you shortly describe your motivation and add a CV.

- This list contains all publications and preprints of our extragalactic
    research group (Lehrstuhl Bender):
The Re-/Preprints of the
    Extragalactic Group

- Here are my
 publications from 2006 to 1999.

- I am organizing the astrophysical lab experiments for undergraduates:
 Astrophysikalisches Praktikum

- If you need some information regarding these lab experiments
that you can't find in the linked webpages, or if you are
interested in a diploma/phD thesis project within our group, please
write me an email.
