Magneticum Pathfinder![]() The Magneticum Pathfinder Suite of Simulations is a sample of fully hydrodynamical cosmological simulations covering boxes of different sizes and resolutions, sampling a WMAP cosmology with Ω0 = 0.272, ΩΛ = 0.728, h = 0.704, σ8 = 0.809, and a primordial power spectrum index n = 0.963.

In Magneticum, each gas particle can spawn up to four stellar particles, with their masses depending on the condition of birth of that stellar particle. Therefore, stellar particles have differing masse, but for comparison to other simulations average stellar masses can be provided.
